wedding: we said, "i do"

our ceremony was something that i will never forget. kenny's dad married us, and i am so glad he agreed to officiate for the very first time on our special day! it was very special to hear what he had to say to and about both kenny and i. it was an emotional ceremony with not just tears but also a lot of laughter (if there was no laughter involved, it would not have been true to kenny's personality!). my brother-in-law played guitar and sang-he did an amazing job! and my dad was able to read scripture, which was so special to me. it was hard to get married so far from where i grew up, knowing that a lot of my family and friends would not be able to make it. but, when it came down to it, the [new] family and friends that i have made living in michigan who came out to support kenny and i on our day were a great reminder that this is now my home, and that i am loved just as much here as i am in new jersey!

thanks for stopping by today!
